Resident Handbook
This handbook provides general information about the Limestone Pointe Homeowners Association rules and owner responsibilities. It is not a substitute for the Declaration and Bylaws, which remain the controlling documents.
Questions regarding the Association should be directed to the Board or the management company.

Sports Equipment
- Sports equipment, including basketball hoops, soccer goals, and similar items, must remain on your Lot and may not be placed on Common Areas or block sidewalks.
Holiday Decorations
- Decorations may be displayed up to 30 days before a holiday and must be removed within 14 days after.
- The Board may allow additional time due to weather.
Lot Maintenance
- Owners must maintain their Lot and keep it free from weeds, overgrowth, broken or damaged items, and visible deterioration.
- Grass must not exceed 8 inches.
- Mulch beds must be weed-free and neatly edged.
- If maintenance is not completed after notice, the Association may complete the work and charge the cost to the Owner, as permitted by the governing documents.
Lot Modifications
- Any exterior change requires prior written approval from the Design Review Board (DRB), unless otherwise stated in this handbook.
- Owners must obtain any required permits and comply with all applicable codes.
- Work must match the approved plan. Unapproved changes may be required to be removed at the Owner’s expense.
Fences
- Fences require Design Review Board approval.
- Fences must be wood or vinyl, solid or picket.
- Fences may not exceed 48 inches in height.
- Lots along Dublin Road may have fences up to 72 inches along that frontage with DRB approval.
- Fences must be painted to match the home or left natural.
- Owners must maintain fences in good condition.
- Peeling paint, rotting, damage, and missing components are not permitted.
Driveways
- Driveways must be maintained to prevent cracking or damage.
- Only natural asphalt or concrete finishes are permitted.
Mailboxes and Posts
- Posts must be cedar or pressure-treated lumber.
- Posts must match the community style.
- Posts may be painted to match the home or left natural.
- Posts must be maintained in good condition.
- Mailboxes must be black and kept in good condition.
- Existing non-black mailboxes may remain until replaced.
Trash, Recycling, and Bulk Collection
- Owners must arrange bulk-item pickup in accordance with City of Columbus guidelines.
- Trash, recycling containers, and bulk items may be placed at the curb no earlier than 4:00 p.m. the day before pickup.
- Trash, recycling containers, and bulk items must be removed by 9:00 p.m. on the day of pickup.
- Containers must be stored out of view from the street except on collection days.
- Side-yard enclosures require DRB approval and must match the home and surrounding landscape.
Maintenance of City Trees
- Trees located within the public right-of-way between the sidewalk and curb are generally maintained by the City of Columbus.
- Owners should contact the City of Columbus through 311 regarding maintenance concerns, hazards, or service needs for these trees.
Satellite Dishes and Antennas
- Satellite dishes and antennas must comply with federal regulations.
- Satellite dishes and antennas may not be installed on Common Areas.
- Owners should place them where they are least visible, as long as signal quality is not affected.
Association Contractor Communications Policy
- Owners and residents may not direct, instruct, or supervise Association contractors.
- All contractor communication must go through the Board or management.
- Owners may report concerns about contractor work to the Board or management.
- Violations may result in enforcement action.
- Owners may be responsible for costs, including rework or additional service calls.
Transient Rental Prohibition
- Short-term rentals of less than 30 days are not permitted.
- Advertising a property for short-term rental is also prohibited.
