Quarry Trails Metro Park
Just minutes from Limestone Pointe, Quarry Trails is Franklin County’s newest Metro Park — and one of the most unique. Built on the site of the historic Marble Cliff Quarry, the park transforms more than a century of industrial use into a scenic, recreational escape.
The 182-acre park features wooded and lakeside trails, a 25-foot waterfall, mountain biking, rock climbing, and the region’s first via ferrata climbing course. It’s part of a broader vision to ensure every Franklin County resident has access to a Metro Park within five miles.
Quarry Trails stands on land that once produced the limestone used to build the Ohio Statehouse and many central Ohio landmarks. Its creation was made possible through community tax support and grants. While construction continues in parts of the park, most areas are open to visitors — just watch for signage and follow directions from park staff and rangers.
