Why do you work so hard to maintain a beautiful yard? I maintain my yard because it feels great to look out the window or come home to a nice well kept yard. I love having colorful flowers to brighten my day!
What is your favorite part of your curb appeal / landscaping? My favorite part of my yard is my beautifully colored flowers. I have planted Impatiens every year since I have live in Limestone Pointe, but this has by far been the best.
What advice about yard and landscaping care do you have for others? My advice about landscaping would be to make it a family affair. It is fun to plant with a little help. My parents and my sister come to town usually a weekend in May and we plant my flowers and my vegetable garden.
What do you like about Limestone Pointe? Limestone pointe is s great development to live in. Everyone is very nice and friendly. It is a quaint little development with a very homey feel.

Taking pride in our landscaping is important to my wife and I because we love our neighborhood and our home and want to make it as nice as possible. We enjoy our days out planting and working on the landscaping and enjoy the time we get to spend together in making our house a home.
Every year we look forward to shopping and planning out the design for our landscaping, as well as spending the day outside planting. Our favorite part of the landscaping is getting to enjoy the beauty of the flowers each day as we walk the dog or drive in from work.
The biggest advice we can give is that landscaping can be enjoyable if you allow it, however it does take a lot of work. You have to commit daily to watering and weeding in order to keep it looking nice but the end result is worth all the hard work.
We both feel so for fortunate to live in Limestone Pointe and honored that we were chosen for yard of the month because there are so many beautiful home and yards to choose from. We promise to keep up the hard working in making our landscaping something all can enjoy and if you see us out in the yard we hope you’ll stop by and say hi.

September 2014 - Rhonda Wood of 3258 Longspur Drive
“I worked on my yard this summer because I love driving up to my home and feeling proud that it’s mine,” Rhonda Wood said. Rhonda who lives at 3258 Longspur Drive won Yard of the Month for September 2014. She feels that simple tasks make all the difference in creating a pretty yard: good edging, no weeds, and lots of mulch in the flower beds.
Rhonda moved to Limestone Pointe because of the location and the great pride that the community takes in the appearance of their homes. “What I love most about Limestone Pointe is how friendly everyone is,” Rhonda said.
Enjoy a walk past Rhonda’s house and see the beautiful yard and flower beds she has created.

August 2014 - Elizabeth Cortolillo-Hernandez, at 3265 Longspur Drive
“I want my house to always have quality curb appeal! I have lived in Limestone Pointe for 13 years, and during this time I have done quite a bit to improve the outside of the home,” Elizabeth Cortolillo-Hernandez, at 3265 Longspur Drive, said. Beth’s hard work paid off when she was awarded Yard of the Month for August 2014.
“It doesn’t take a lot to improve the overall look of a home,” Beth said. “To be honest, sometimes less is more. Yards can look great with just regular mowing, trimming, and weeding. With this amazing cool weather, it has been much easier to invest time in the yard.”
Beth grew up in Upper Arlington and was thrilled to find a fairly new, spacious house in Limestone Pointe, one so close to her childhood community, Grandview Heights, Dublin, and downtown Columbus.
“Our community has come a long way in the time I have spent here. I continue to be encouraged for the future sale of homes in Limestone Pointe, as I see lovely new people coming to the neighborhood,” Beth said. “My realtor friends continue to tell me that our neighborhood is VERY desirable, especially for young, first time home-buyers.”
The more we work together to keep the community looking great, the more we all will benefit in the end, Beth said. “Thank you for enjoying my yard… Cheers!”

July 2014 - Trish & Bob Triano at 2447 Limestone Way
Trish and Bob Triano are the original owners of the house at 2447 Limestone Way. They are also winners of the July Yard of the Month contest. They were both excited and surprised to win the award, which includes a $50 gift card to a local hardware store.
Recently, they have put quite a bit of work into their backyard, which is even more amazing than the front. The Trainos feel they owe their neighbors and the neighborhood a great-looking yard and house. It gives them a sense of pride to have great curb appeal.
Congratulation, Trish and Bob!

July 2013 - Alicia and Jake Basen!
Walk by 2453 Limestone Way to see the beautiful landscaping and grass that invite guests to their home.
When we caught up with Mr. and Mrs. Basen to award their $50.00 Lowe’s gift certificate, they were busy working around the lawn and house. "We like to take care of our lawn," Jake said. We weren’t trying to win an award. Alicia from Findley and Jake from Cleveland are new members of our growing Buckeye family at Limestone Pointe.
Picking a winner in our neighborhood was not easy. We have beautiful yards where many homeowners take pride in the appearance of their property. Thank you for making Limestone Pointe a more comfortable and beautiful place to live.
